Thanksgiving 2006
Wow! Its been a long time since I blogged. I look at Shannon's http://luckyredhen.blogspot.com/ blog and I look at Alicia's and Noelle's but haven't done anything on mine. I put Shannon's blog address on here so you too can enjoy her amazing photography.
Thanksgiving was quiet. Except for the blowup that David and I had. Pent-up frustrations taking its toll. Why are holidays always stressful?! But it was short-lived and then we got down to eating. Caz and I cooked rolls, mashed potatoes, marshmallow yams, stuffing, turkey, carrotts, and then we bought a Costco pumpkin pie. It was hours of on and off work, but the 7 minutes we actually sat down and ate were worth it. We watched a few movies and played some board games. I'm thankful for everything I have and know that Heavenly Father has given it all to me. I wish I were home with Caz and David today but I had to work. She and David are going up to the Pass to see the snow. (Update:) They had a great time in the snow, got stuck in the truck a couple of times and need help from friendly strangers to get them out. They bought a snow disc sled at a gas station and broke it the first time down the hill. It turns out (after calling the company) that those were supposed to be recalled because of the faulty plastic. They sent us 2 new sleds.
